Colon cancer is the secnd deadliest form of cancer in the United States, but learning more about the disease and steps you can take to get screened can help make a difference. As part of National Colon Cancer Awareness Month in March, you're invited to attend a discussion about colon cancer - risk factors, screening guidelines, and treatment options - led by fellowship trained gastroenterologists from Mercer Gastroenterology. Melissa Phelps, registered dietitian and certified specialist in oncology nutrition will also discuss nutrition guidelines to promote the health of your colon.

Traning is open to anyone who is at risk for a heroin or opioid overdose or their family or friends. Education will be provided on how to administer Narcan and do rescue breathing.
